System 3000D Log Cleaning Utility
Archives the EAS log file to a "ZIP" file on diskette,
then removes the entries from the System 3000D internal log
The logclean is run from diskette. You can create the logclean diskette if you have a PC running Windows and a 3.5 inch high density diskette drive. You will also need one formatted but otherwise empty diskette.
The logclean diskette is created by the program 3klogclean.exe, a Windows executable file. The program writes the necessary files to the diskette. You must not boot the diskette in your PC! The diskette must be used ONLY in System 3000D!

You can also request a pre-made diskette, ready for use, by contacting MTS as outlined in "If you need help" below.
If you downloaded the update file start HERE
1. Launch the logclean creator by double-clicking the mouse on the file 3klogclean.exe. In the resulting dialog box, be sure the option "Writing on floppy" is checked, and that options "File extraction" and "Image file" are not checked, then click OK.
2. Put a 3.5 inch high density diskette in drive a: and click OK at the "Insert floppy to write" prompt. The program will format and then write data to the diskette.
3. Remove the diskette from the PC.
***DO NOT BOOT YOUR PC WITH THE DISKETTE IN THE DRIVE***
4. Mount the diskette in the drive on System 3000D. Press the front panel keys [ESC] [ENT] [2] [9] [9] [5] and wait for the menu to display on the LCD. Press [F5] to restart System 3000D.
5. The LCD displays the progress and prompts you to remove the diskette just before it reboots.
6. The log file is now in ZIP format on the diskette. We suggest you store the diskette with your station logs. When you want to clear the internal log again, repeat the process with a new diskette.
